Super weird typing, “2026”. Ok whatever. I got a drone for Christmas and at first was disappointed because I live too close the Reagan Airport to fly it at my house. Then, as I was fooling around with it, I also found out I needed to pass a test to be licensed to fly a drone, register my license with the FAA and put my license number on my drone before I would legally be allowed to fly the thing. Well, I did all those things (that’s right I have a pilot’s license now – for drones!) So today, we headed a few miles south to get out of the DCA “no-fly” zone so I could finally take my new toy out for a test flight. Really cool! Footage below.
