Back from a nice weekend in Blacksburg. Visited with the kids, met Marcus’ roommate and his puppy, caught a football game and generally had a nice time. Great weather and the Hokies got some revenge on ODU. If you recall, ODU took us to the woodshed last year, basically ended the season, and got coach Pry fired.
Back in the Shed today and looking forward to the week. I created an “Analog Defaults” page here to track whatever drawing and writing tools I am using. Should be a nice short week as we are headed out of town again on Friday.

- Starting to get back into doing campaign drawings for our Scum and Villainy weekly game with the Tuesday Night Fights gang. Did some sketches last night after a decent break from the drawing table.
- October horror movies: I’ll start working on my watch list this week probably
- Reading: Mr Norrell and Jonathan Strange (Susanna Clarke), How to Live (Sarah Bakewell)
- Watching: Mostly sports, some TV. Ted Lasso (Apple S4), Reacher (Prime S4), Lanterns (HBO S1)
- Short Videos: I’ve had a mind to take more videos (in lieu of? or in addition to?) photos as a way to encapsulate trips or just goings on. The problem is I’m not great at remembering to actually do it in the moment. Well this weekend I did better than usual – still need work and was able to take a enough video to string together a short clip of the weekend.
